This guy must be afraid of heights, really bad at flying or a disgraceful combination of both. Because there’s gotta be a better reason why Knockout’s not a flier. 😛
Not me. Because that is precisely the type of answer I expected form a character like Knock Out. He’s a medic and he can see when someone’s dead, unlike many fans it seems.. And dead means dead. Gone. The End.
Moreover, hes a Con. Did you really expect him to cry over a long dead Breakdown almost a season after he was no more?
He even looks a bit offended that Starscream would even suggest he’s can’t make the difference between a living Breakdown and a dead shell with a human inside.
Totally this. I’ll leave you something to consider though: doctors, human doctors too, of course see a lot of dead people and after a while you just don’t care anymore. It comes with the job. However, most people who deal with dead bodies refrain from handling people they knew when they were alive. When asked about it they would say it’s too invasive; they’d feel like they were butchering and desecrating their remains. They feel they are not meant to see them like this, so they don’t.
Knockout’s a sadist, he’s emotionally deprived. This is not made up. I know some fans probably so don’t want to hear this and I admit I’d love it if I was wrong with this, but everything considered Knockout most likely never was that attached to Breakdown. He liked him while he was alive, maybe a lot really, but he hardly experiences his death as loss.
He’s probably a bit confused because Starscream seems to be suggesting, if he was in Knockout’s place, he /would/ care. And yeah, this is just the difference between those two: Starscream (no self-confidence, seeks praise and acknowledgment constantly) is highly emotionally invested in people, Knockout is not.
