I believe this lovely creature is a Bolens Python! There are a couple at the Denver Zoo, and the keeper I met at the reptile house said they were her favorites to work with becuase hers were very gentle and docile. They’re from papua new guinea and unfortunately an endangered species but captive breeding programs in zoos have been very successful in bolstering thier numbers so far!

oh hey I know these guys! they’re in a little tide pool at the Monterrey Bay Aquarium and they’re super sweet. If they see you standing next to the pool they’ll jump up out of the water and splash you until you pet them
