I accidentally noted Shockwave’s name down as “Sockwave” and @botstripper asked if that means he’d wear socks over his ears, so I had to do this naturally

it was a lot of fun to work on. i always wanted to draw a Shockwave cover.
the colours were done by the amazing Mr. Josh Perez http://dyemooch.tumblr.com/
i’m always amazed at the final product he comes up with. It’s a true joy to have him colouring my work, and i miss working with him more
anyhoo, here is the progression of the cover. as you can see, it basically stayed the same from rough to final product.
