A compilation of stuff I know about drawing Asian faces and Asian culture! I feel like many “How-To-Draw” tutorials often default to European faces and are not really helpful when drawing people of other races. So I thought I’d put this together in case anyone is interested! Feel free to share this guide and shoot me questions if you have any! I’m by no means an expert, I just know a few things from drawing experience and from my own cultural background.
You can browse the most popular ones or search for certain colors, themes, and even specific hex codes!
When you find one you like, you can download a wallpaper swatch of it and also select the specific colors it uses to look at more palettes that use those same ones.
Just a quick thing I put together. This blew my fucking MIND when my anatomy teacher pointed it out. My drawings instantly got better. You might know it (good for you, I wish I knew it before too T_T) or you might not and it might help you get better.
I did NOT know this! :OOOOO Thank you!
Just a PSA – not true of everyone.
I epicly break this rule by having a super-long tibial region, I swear like 30% of my total height is pure tibia. XD Some guys/girls can have long tibias too y’know!
(my dad is similar to the proportions here, my mother has a femur clearly longer than tibia, and somehow I came out with a tibia that’s around equal length to my femur. Like the majority of anatomy tips, it’s a generalisations that can be slightly broken in some people)
Spent the last two days working on this little archery guide in art and writing. Considering the rise in popularity of archers in pop culture this hopefully comes in handy for a bunch of fandoms.
