i joke but i actually do love Rodimus a lot, i love that the Matrix went so hard for him & that what areas he lacks in leadership skills he makes up for in bravery and kindness & like, sheer stubbornness/determination. i love that he does make mistakes & loses himself but always ends up coming back to it (i.e. getaway’s overboard punishment vs. saving him from burning).
he can find something worth saving in just about everyone – hell, he found something worth saving in Megatron. not all of that was just “oh optimus would be mad” or whatever
like yea a lot of times he’s immature & brash but ultimately Rodimus is a really good person & I love him very much thanks 4 yr time
