I remember the first time I read this, and being as stunned as Verity when Megatron showed up. Verity’s reaction–there was a weight to it all. This is Verity, who’s been running around with Hunter and Jimmy and the rest of the Autobots. She’s been in firefights, and all this craziness–handling it more or less fine and totally on board to help out the ‘Bots–and then Megatron just standing there floors her into shock. He’s that intimidating.
And then Megatron just turns his head away, like she’s nothing–because she is nothing to him.
I don’t know. It’s one of my favorite moments in the IDW Run. I love it.

Because tbh it kind of adds to the idea that Verity is completely irrelevant to him. He sees her, he almost acknowledges her, but ultimately she is nothing to him and he continues to act how he normally would while alone.
I AM ACTUALLY REALLY HOPING MEGS VS. TARN GOES DOWN.
…but I’ve also mentally prepared myself for Tarn’s death. I don’t know why but I get this feeling that Megs is going to kill him or he’s going to die in some way. I HATE THE FACT THAT I FEEL THIS WAY.
I REALLY WANT TARN’S MASK TO COME OFF DURING THIS. I FEEL LIKE IT’D BE THE PERFECT TIME FOR IT. either it gets knocked off in the scuffle or Tarn angrily rips it off whilst yelling at his former lord and master *VIBRATES*
YES PLEASE. I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE LIKE NOW. Tarn and Megs fighting, off comes the faceplate, and then they keep punching one another while everyone faints from how handsome Tarn is.
