While I’m really glad Starscream and Bee are looking way better in the upcoming movie, I still wish THIS ^ is what they looked like.

[edited]  so ladycybercat graciously gave me some links and i was able to collect the following info and pics about these beautiful bots:

  • they’re actual collectible statues by a company called XM Studios that were on display at the 2017
    Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention
  • only Optimus is listed on their site, but i’m assuming it’s generally the same info for Starscream too:
  • priced at $2,000 (!!!)
  • handcrafted and hand painted, took 2 years to make
  • they each come with a seperate smaller statue of their vehicle mode
  • they really are as big as they look!! Optimus’ statue is 120cm tall (his truck mode is 35cm long)
  • i was right about the IDW influence – it says Andrew Griffith was involved in the concept/design
  • more pics of Starscream and a few of Optimus

the delay where you think it might be possible that the tree will survive and then…nope

Fantastic video! And it perfectly illustrates why you never rest under a tree during a lightning storm. Not for risk of electrocution, but because of the tree. When lightning struck the tree, all of the sap inside of it boiled spontaneously – that’s what caused the tree to explode. So you’re more likely to be injured by shrapnel, boiling hot sap, and/or have stuff fall on you than be electrocuted.

I can’t wait for the next movie to begin with David landing on Origae-6 with a smug smile. Queue angry flute music in the distance. Walter dead-ass driving one of the engineers‘ ship naked. Landing a few minutes later, no expression, gets out and bitch slaps David so hard his head falls off again.
