Drawing and then saving pics step by step actually helps a lot! Even if  there are small changes, you can see the difference as you move along:) It’s a good tip when checking progress and making changes later uvu

It looks hard but trust me, it’s really fun to draw like this!:’D

While I’m really glad Starscream and Bee are looking way better in the upcoming movie, I still wish THIS ^ is what they looked like.

[edited]  so ladycybercat graciously gave me some links and i was able to collect the following info and pics about these beautiful bots:

  • they’re actual collectible statues by a company called XM Studios that were on display at the 2017
    Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention
  • only Optimus is listed on their site, but i’m assuming it’s generally the same info for Starscream too:
  • priced at $2,000 (!!!)
  • handcrafted and hand painted, took 2 years to make
  • they each come with a seperate smaller statue of their vehicle mode
  • they really are as big as they look!! Optimus’ statue is 120cm tall (his truck mode is 35cm long)
  • i was right about the IDW influence – it says Andrew Griffith was involved in the concept/design
