Windblade is knocked off a ledge: Transforms and flies up
Starscream is knocked off a ledge: Transforms and flies up
Thundercracker: Just freezes up as soon as his feet are no longer touching the ground. May have some sort of phobia or may just be dumb. Is doing his best.
Trying to decide whether I should buy the TPB versions of the Robots in Disguise series…
Holy shit my dudes
Volume 1-5. Cool. Fine. It’s called Robots in Disguise, and it’s got issues #1-#22. All good.
Where are issues #23-#27? Oh, they’re in Dark Cybertron Volume 1 and 2, obviously, along with More Than Meets the Eye issues #23-#27.
Okay, no. It’s cool. Crossover event. I love that shit.
Next is Volume 6. It’s called Robots in Disguise, and it’s got issues #28-#32. Nothing amiss there.
Now here’s where it gets really weird:
Volume 7 isn’t called Robots in Disguise, it’s called Combiner Wars; First Strike. Name changes, yay. but it’s got issues #33-#38 of the comic formally known as Robots in Disguise, so fine. I can deal.
BUT NOW IT GETS WEIRDER
You want to read issues #39-#41? You gotta read Transformers: Combiner Wars. Which incidentally also has Windblade, Volume 2, issues #1-#3. Another crossover event? Who knows! I sure as hell don’t!
Volume 8… Volume 8 isn’t called Combiner Wars, or Robots in Disguise, or anything. It doesn’t get a name. None of the the remaining Volumes get a subtitle, because fuck continuity
So Volumes 8-10 of Transformers: Robots in Disguise Combiner Wars has issues #42-#55.
But wait, there’s more!
There’s still two more issues to go
Where are they?
Oh, they’re collected together with More Than Meets the Eye issues #56 & #57 in Transformers: Titans Return.
