not just the dan’s-a-good-guy thing but between all three of them, there’s no passive aggressiveness, no oneupmanship, not intrigue-loaded subplot where it even occurs to any of them to antagonize one another

anne and dan see a guy in crisis and they get in his corner and stay there, earnestly

and. i cling to that bc screenwriters LOVE to make characters be mean to each other and i imagine a little of that will happen between them in the future film(s) but sometimes something being interesting is just not worth the negative emotions it makes u feel

tbh I’m still not sure whether kin is meant as kinfolk (family/friends) or “otherkin” and at this stage I’m too afraid to ask
