I always thought it was weird how Riot just doesn’t even question Venom wanting to defend the Earth. No discussion or anything just “ok, then die”. It seemed awful fast.
Then I realized. Riot has all of Carlton Drake’s memories. He’s now seen the footage of the entire drone chase scene. He’s just like “Oh crud. His host has a motorcycle. There’s a 99% chance Venom is already in love.”
Then Eddie talking like a jilted ex-lover in the interrogation scene? Confirmed. Riot even giving Venom the option of getting on the rocket was a formality. He KNEW Venom’s gay ass self wasn’t getting in.

at first i read the above explanation thinking it was just a bunch of long thrown in words meant to make something simple complicated….but that is the perfect explanation for what I just watched
It’s been mentioned many times before, but the voice actress did this in a SINGLE take… makes it all the more impressive
